MY OWN HOUSE - CORNWALL                 1 2 3 4 5

My house is an 'upside down' house with the Living Room etc. on the first floor and all Bedrooms and Bathroom on the lower (ground) floor.
The problem has been that the front door was not easily accessible due to the fact that the only route to the door was via a small 'balcony' type structure which was very narrow and un-inviting
For some time now I have been considering building a 'Bridge' to allow easier and direct access to the front door.
Work has recently been started on the bridge (October 2004) and these photographs show the progression to date.

Some of the work has been carried out by local builder Jason Richards

Timber has been supplied by Cornwall Wood Treatments Ltd.

Other building materials have been supplied by L.A.Philips and Sons.
