What shall I do with my time now that I am retired ?
(I don't think that will be a problem)

NEW SHED AND FRACTURED SCAPHOID BONE

05 OCTOBER 2009

Well.... after several months the shed is coming together.

I designed the shed on CAD and have been buying timber, screws etc over the last few months and gradually making the frames for the floor and walls and the truses for the roof.

I got some help from Jason Richards for the assembly and all was going well....until Monday when I accidently fell down a small embankment adjacent to the shed.

I fell onto a tarmacced drive and in trying to save myself I have apparently fractured my scaphoid bone in my left wrist.

Linda took me to Falmouth Small Injuries unit on Monday evening in exteme pain which had developed slowy over a few hours.  (no pain when it happened)

After waiting for over an hour I was eventually given some pain killers my wrist and forfearm were put into a temporary plaster cast and I was told to go back on Tuesday for an Xray.

Went back Tuesday morning and am now in proper cast for the next ten days - after which I have to attend Treliske for an assessment - and further treatment if necessary.

The shed however is looking good !!!!!
